Wax Cylinder Music is a Northern Ontario booking and artist development agency founded by musician, educator and musical director Guy Coutu. Drawing on years of performing, teaching and collaborating, along with an Artist Management certification from Berklee Online, Guy built WCM around a belief that lasting opportunities begin with strong relationships.
We connect artists with venues, festivals and event organizers, taking the time to understand the people and purpose behind each show. From booking performances to supporting artistic growth, our approach is personal, thoughtful and grounded in a shared love of live music.
Our vision is a thriving, connected music community where artists feel supported, audiences discover exceptional talent, and live music becomes a lasting part of community life. We’re proud to help strengthen those connections close to home while opening doors to new stages beyond Northern Ontario.
More stages. More audiences. More opportunities.
